Guided Antigua Cultural Walking Tour | Friday & Saturday 9:30AM and 12:30 PM 

Meet your Antigua Tours guide at the fountain in the Main Plaza for a leisurely walk around this World Heritage Site. The tour focuses on the city’s history, cultural trends and restoration efforts. Visit the City Hall Palace, Palace of the Captain’s General, the Cathedral with its majestic ruins, Antigua’s unique cultural lifestyle, Maya archeology through the spiritual stone of jade, and the best museums in town at Paseo de los Museos and see the city come to life.

Taste of Antigua” Guatemalan Cooking Class | Friday, November 27th 2:00PM 

$70 per adult & $50 per child under 12 years old. (Minimum 6 – maximum 40 people) Reservations required at least 2 days in advance. Experience cooking in an old fashioned kitchen at La Fonda de la Calle Real #2 (“La Cocinita” - 3ª Calle Poniente No. 7), learning the history, culture and preparation of Guatemalan cuisine and then enjoy the meal you have prepared. Class includes a cookbook and a colorful apron handmade by indigenous locals.

Climb Pacaya Volcano | Saturday, November 28th at 10:00AM 

$50 per person includes transportation/guide/entrance fees and box lunch (minimum 5 people – group rate). Wedding transportation from Hotel El Convento in Antigua to the Pacaya Volcano National Park entrance where you meet your Pacaya National Park guide (basic English) and begin a 1½ hr hike up the volcano. Watch results of the recent eruptions and the volcano smoking. Experience incredible views. Hike back down and return to Hotel El Convento in Antigua at about 4pm. Wear long pants and good shoes. Please advise of any food allergies for the box lunches.

Golf Day at La Reunion | Sunday, November 29th at 7:00 AM 

Golf package $150 + 12% tax = $168 per person. Private shuttle $40 for one to three people each way. $10 each additional passenger. $10 per half hour wait for late departure. Depart El Convento in Antigua in private transportation to La Reunion Golf Resort (45 minutes away). There enjoy Fuego Maya, a legendary golf course designed by architect Pete Dye. Depart La Reunion at 1:00 PM in private transportation returning to El Convento around 2:00 PM. Package includes: Green fee, golf cart, water, towels, tees and driving range. Golf clubs not included. 

Coffee Plantation Tour | Daily 8:20AM, 10:20AM, and 1:20 AM

$20 per person includes transportation and English/Spanish guide. Pre-paid tickets required. Meet at Capuchinas Ruins (2a Ave & 2a Calle) for a short ride to enjoy one of the oldest and most established coffee estates in Guatemala. Follow the path of the coffee bean from the nursery to your cup. Conclude with a seated educational tasting. Return to Antigua (2 ½ hours).

Canopy Zip Line Tour | Daily 8:20AM, 10:20AM, and 1:20AM

$50 per person for one tour includes transportation, equipment and guide; $75 for both tours. Pre-paid tickets required. Meet at Capuchinas Ruins (2a Ave & 2a Calle) for a short ride to fly over amazing views, treetops and wild deer. Experience an unforgettable adventure for the whole family at the Filadelfia Coffee Estate. Choose between the mid-speed-7 segment zip line of the Forest Express Tour or the highspeed 2 steps zip line of Canyon Express Tour. Return to Antigua (2 ½ hours).

Sport Fishing with US Captain Christopher Starrs | Private Charter Available

Deep sea fishing trip in a classic 30 foot albemarle with twin 240/turbo yanmar diesels, a marlin tower, enclosed cabin with bathroom, grill for hot lunches, sound system, and two local crew members. Leave Antigua at 6am in a private shuttle to Marina Pez Vela. Typically fish for 7-8 hours returning to the dock at 3:30pm. Target sail fish, dorado, and all species of Marlin offshore at usually no less than 20 miles.
